What we set
A session cookie so you stay signed in, a CSRF cookie so forms cannot be forged from another site, a preference entry for your theme and language, and identifiers set by Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record, through Paddle Retain. Retain loads on our home page, not on a checkout or billing page (we have none on this site), and it recognises a returning visitor so we can recover a failed payment and screen for fraud.
Analytics
All seven Consent Mode v2 signals default to denied and we never grant them, so no Google Analytics or advertising cookie is ever set for any visitor. The Paddle Retain identifier described above is set regardless, because it is not a measurement or advertising cookie.
No preference control today
There is no cookie banner and no Cookie settings control on this site, in the footer or anywhere else, so there is nothing to change your mind through. The only identifiers set are the essential ones above - session, CSRF, and Paddle's - and they are set the same way for every visitor.
